Code of Conduct
The Cross Insurance Center is committed to providing an entertaining experience to all patrons and a safe environment for such patrons and staff. As such, any verbal or physical harassment or other abusive behavior towards other patrons or staff members will not be tolerated by management and may, at management’s discretion, result in the responsible party being ejected from the venue and/or having their tickets to any future events (as applicable) cancelled without refund.
In order to maintain a safe and secure environment at the Cross Insurance Center, we have implemented a bag policy for all events. Our venue bag policy is a maximum of 14″ x 14″ x 6″. All guests are subject to a bag search to confirm that prohibited items aren’t entering the venue.
Including but not limited to:
- Weapons (guns, knives, chains, tasers, firearms, bats, billy clubs, night sticks, kubatons, spikes, brass knuckles, blackjacks, martial arts weapons, razor blades, box cutters, scissors, tools, etc)
- Self Defense Sprays (mace, pepper spray)
- Explosives (fireworks, ammunition)
- Fuels, Torches, Lighter Fluid
- Hazardous Items (chemicals, paint thinners, etc)
- Projectiles, Frisbees, Beach Balls, Balloons
- Alcohol, Illegal Drugs, or Drug Paraphernalia
- Drones (UAS Unmanned Aircraft Systems) or Other Aircrafts
- Laser Pointers (or other optical distractions)
- Aerosol Cans or Noisemaking Devices (whistles, air horns, fog horns, plastic airhorns, etc)
- Hoverboards or Skateboards
- Professional Video or Audio Recording Devices
- Sealed Packages of Any Kind
- Selfie Sticks or Telescopic Devices
- Pets (other than service animals)
- Large Banners, Signs, or Flags
- Outside Food & Beverage (except for baby food and medically necessary items)
- Coolers, Hydration Packs, Bottles, Cans or Other Beverage Containers
- Any Other Items Deemed Inappropriate by Arena Personnel
- The Cross Insurance Center will not check or store any of the above prohibited items
- Exceptions are made for medical and religious purpose, after proper inspection
The Cross Insurance Center is a smoke free property.
- Smoking includes cigarettes, cigars, illegal drugs of any kind, electronic cigarettes, and vaporizers.
*The Cross Insurance Center retains the rights to refuse access to any quest that does not follow any/all facility policies and guidelines.
Many guests are extremely excited about seeing their favorite artist perform and want to preserve this special moment by taking pictures. To ensure you fully enjoy your event experience at the Cross Insurance Center and are never disappointed or inconvenienced; we would like to provide you with our standard camera policy and some general information and guidelines about taking pictures at our events.
It is extremely important to note that each show will have its own unique restrictions on photography and video that will override our venue policy, but generally, the following standard restrictions apply to Cross Insurance Center events.
- No video recording from any source
- No audio recording from any source
- No professional cameras are permitted inside the venue
- Cross Insurance Center defines professional camera as “a camera, digital or otherwise, with a detachable/interchangeable lens of any size or type.”
- Selfie sticks, go-pro devices, ipads, or other devices (aside from cell phones) or not permitted inside the venue.
Please read our event “Know Before You Go” as this will include any unique event specific policies that supersede the venue policy. Please note that we will also post signage around the venue during specific events that have additional restrictions.
For the safety and security of our fans, entertainers, players and staff, Cross Insurance Center employs the use of both Garrett and Xtract One walkthrough metal detectors for all events taking place at the venue. Qualified designated security personnel will be onsite to facilitate the screening as well as any secondary searches that may be required. Patrons who require alternative screening options due to medical or accessibility reasons may request this upon arrival at the venue.
Fans that refuse to submit to either a walkthrough, wand or pat-down search shall be refused entry.
The Cross Insurance Center and Bass Park tobacco free. All use of tobacco products is prohibited at all events inside the venue or on its grounds.
- All media requests for events must be approved by the Cross Insurance Center in advance of the event.
- If media has been approved by another party/organization for an event held at the Cross Insurance Center, coverage will still need to be approved by venue management.
- Any additional equipment needs must also be filed with the Cross Insurance Center with at least 48 hours notice of prior to the event.
- Appropriate identification must be worn at all times while at the Cross Insurance Center when covering the event.
- All visitors are expected to adhere to the Security Policy set in place by the Cross Insurance Center.

- The Cross Insurance Center will hold lost items for 30 days, at which point they will be discarded.
- To retrieve a lost item, please call 207-561-8300 during normal business hours (9am-5pm M-F) and we will work with you to return your item.
- When calling the Cross Insurance Center, please leave a detailed message with the missing item, a description of the item, the section or approximate location in which you believe you misplaced your item, and the best call back number or email so we can better assist you in locating your lost item.

- You must always call/message us in advance to retrieve your missing item.
- Cross Insurance Center Staff are not available on event days to locate missing items.
- As of September 9th, 2022, the Cross Insurance Center will be a cashless venue.
- Debit and credit cards will be accepted at any point of sale throughout the venue, as well as mobile payment options (Apple Pay, Android Pay, etc.).
- LOADABLE CARDS ARE AVAILABLE! The Cross Insurance Center will have a station with cards available to load cash onto (located a central location within the venue).This location will vary on depending on the show or event. These cards are good for purchases at concession stands within the venue.
