These are the new dates for the Bangor Comic & Toy Con from the previously scheduled dates of April 24-26th. Tickets held for previously scheduled dates will be honored at the new dates.

The Bangor Comic and Toy Con is celebrating it’s fifth year as a convention!

This will be the first time the BCTC will be in the in the arena!

BCTC features Actors, Wrestlers, and Comic Artists from TMNT, to Marvel, and DC. We will also be having a video game tournament and free play offered all weekend, as well as an expanded kids corner brought to you by KIDSCON New England. Don’t forget the COSPLAY we will have a ton of events as well as Cosplay competitions. If all that isn’t enough we’ve also added LIMITLESS WRESTLING for two days and will have a story line built around the Con and tons of cool surprises.

  • Allows early access to the BCTC at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday & Sunday (Doors open to public at 10:30 a.m. on those days)
  • Includes a Swag Bag, access to the Con After Dark events (offsite), and front of the line access to all guests
  • Ticketholders are able to attend all three days!

Family Pass* (Saturday or Sunday) – $100.00

  • Valid for either Saturday or Sunday
  • Includes FOUR tickets as part of package

2-Day Pass (Saturday & Sunday) – $60.00

  • Pass for both Saturday & Sunday of the BCTC
  • Friday will be an additional charge
Hours

FRIDAY:

  • The Con floor will be open from 5:00 – 9:00 p.m.
  • Other Con related activities will occur in the Cross Insurance Center until 11:00 p.m.

SATURDAY:

  • The Con floor will be open from 10:30 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. (VIP entry will occur at 10:00 a.m.)
  • Other Con related activities will occur in the Cross Insurance Center until 11:00 p.m.

SUNDAY:

  • The Con floor will be open from 10:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (VIP entry will occur at 10:00 a.m.)

CIC COSTUME POLICY

The Cross Insurance Center wants you, and everyone attending the event, to enjoy their time. We want to be as friendly and accommodating to cosplayers as possible. We appreciate every second and moment that is put into your cosplay attire, but we have to make sure that everyone who attends the event has a safe and enjoyable experience as well.

Please review this cosplay weapon policy for details:

  • Everyone attending the event is subject to a safety screening.
  • All costume props and weapons must be inspected by Cross Insurance Center security.
  • All costume props and weapons must also conform to state and federal law.
  • No functional props or weapons are allowed in the Cross Insurance Center for the event
  • Any projectile costume props and weapons must be rendered inoperable

Allowed Items:

  • Lightsabers and wands
  • Unstrung bows and arrows (must have foam or no tip)
  • Shields of all materials with no sharp edges
  • Lightweight plastic bats, staffs and brooms
  • Whips (must be zip tied or otherwise attached to your person)
  • Swords constructed of light foam, plastic, or cardboard
  • Other items made from cardboard, foam, rubber, and likewise lightweight materials
  • Sci-fi related guns are allowed (e.g. Portal Guns, blasters, phasers, etc)
  • These MUST NOT resemble real world guns
  • They MUST be inoperable and cannot launch projectiles

Prohibited Items (including, but not limited to):

  • Realistic and replica firearms of any kind
  • Tasers
  • Glass or stone props
  • Projectile weapons or ones that can launch anything (e.g. slingshots)
  • Brass knuckles
  • Real, replica, or simulated explosives, ammunition, chemical weapons of any kind, including but not limited to: Simulated bomb vests, cartoon bombs, bullets, hand grenades, claymore mines, firecrackers, pepper spray, mace, powder caps
  • Metal or wood swords and other sharp-edged weapons
  • Excessively noisy props
  • Including but not limited to airhorns, bullhorns, whistles
  • Any Other Items Deemed Inappropriate by Arena Personnel

*The Cross Insurance Center retains the right to change this policy at any time and to refuse access to any guest that does not follow any/all facilities regulations.
